I went offshore with some guys that I met on the forums Sunday. We fished a secret wreck that our Capt. Sam had the #'s to. In less than 50' of water we pulled gags up one after the other.

Nice.

The thing I like the most about shallow grouper is they don't give up. They are mean all the way up!

It's just not the same when they blow up from the pressure difference... About halfway up in deep water the fight turns into a half-hearted tug of war.

 

A box of fish like that and you won't need to make another trip for a little while.
