| any combo you own you can catch a bluefish on...line doesn't matter... use 50# mono leader and a big crocodile spoon or if you prefer bait fishing use any kind of cut bait with a long shank J hook or a circle hook..

| nope... they actually will cut the braid with there teeth a lot easier... but if you feel more secure using wire leader then use it....i just like using mono cause it draws more strikes.. but wire works almost just as good..
