| | I'll use this bait when I have a good feeling that there are redfish in the area. When I use it I'll throw on a d.o.a. paddle tail either rootbeer/chart. or a greenback kind of color. (I'll dip my bait in gulp juice) I've had the best luck on an incoming tide in deep holes up to 6ft and near oyster beds w/ a little drop off. |

| | I've used the bait as a search bait when drifting over a flat and have had good luck with trout. Was using it at the south end of mosquito lagoon one morning and had a large red following it but it must have had lock jaw. When I fish the bait I slow roll it on the bottom and through the grass while every couple of seconds popping it up and letting it drop back to the bottom. The puffers will tier up the swim tails so I us a saltwater tube tipped with a peace of any gulp bait for the scent. Because the tube has so many trailers you get more casts with it before changing it. Good luck.
