Yes the Cabo has a Cold-forged brass face gear with stainless steel pinion

Versus the Boca that has PT alloy face gear with machined brass pinion

From what I have been told by people who have used the Bocas on big fish such as Tarpon in the 150# class that the alloy gear in the Boca is what gives up.
