| I have a pflueger infusion and was happy with it but had to upgrade due to size. I got the new stradic 8000 and was very impressed. The pflueger was fine.....but in my opinion the stradic was a big upgrade.

| I have the Pflueger Medalist and the President. I've had the Medalist for a year and half now and never had any problems. I just bought the President a few weeks ago and love it just as much as the Medalist. The Pres. runs $60, the Med. runs $75 and the Supreme runs $100. I think you would be just as happy with a Medalist or President as you would be with the Supreme and you would save a few bucks. Let us know what you decide on and if you get the Supreme let me know how it is.

| I have a couple of the Presidents. They're ok. I could go either way on them though. The drag is ok and it's a nice balanced reel. The only problems I've had with them is the reel handles start to peel. But I'd give the over all company a 5 out of 10. They're ok, but nothing great. The positive thing is they really don't break the bank.

| Pflueger Supreme is a magnesium frame reel. Although supposedly it has a saltwater-safe coating, I'd be wary about using it. Magnesium and saltwater are definitely not friends.
