I was just wondering if any one here hunts squirrels with dogs. I see several folks here hunt duck, deer and turkey so I was just wondring. I have squirrel dogs and that is what takes up most of my free time! I also do a little deer hunting (for meat, not trophy), turkey hunting but my second love to squirrel hunting would have to be fishing.

I hunt with Original Mtn Curs and also a breed known as a Mullins Stock Feist. If you hunt with dogs, what breed(s) do you hunt?

I assume you already know that Mepps / Mister Twister will buy your squirrel tails (merchandise credit) after reading your tilapia post seeing you used their plastics.

I unfortunately don't get to hunt currently. I used to love going to GA as a kid and taking my great grandfathers dog out and hunting quail or squirrel... then again, where they lived at the time I could sit real still on the front porch with a pellet gun and get a squirrel or two from the front yard and a few quails from the field across the street... only problem with them quail is you got to hit them in the head if you're using a bb/pellet gun. Too many feathers for a consistent 1-shot kill to anywhere but the head.
