the reason for the higher thrust motor is not speed it is for current and windy situations although it would also be slightly but this was not the reason for the recommendation. fished out of a flatback canoe for 5 years  on year three stepped up to a 24 v the extra battery placed near the bow weight when fishing alone this helps the boat track straight instead of the bow floating high and being pushed side to side by the wind all in all it is not nessesary but if the funds are available it does have benefits

i would suggest a minn kota riptide saltwater........and get the highest thrust you can on a 12V

The Graphite vinyl didn't work... butthe dark green did! I really didn't like the tan color, so I had my guys at work wrap it in a special vinyl that we use for vehicles.





that is one sexy geenoe but i'll have to stick with my carolina...
