| | I know you've been doing a lot of bass fishing lately and there is a big pond behind my house and I can see bass EVERYWHERE but they won't bite anything, there are lily pads just about everywhere you look with huge holes in the middles and i was wondering what kind of lures you have been using to catch all those bass. I'm intrested to know if the X-Rap is a good lure and what colors but I would also like to know any other stuff you have in mind! If any other people see this and you have ideas let me know plz! Thx

| Well, Finally someone asks, im about to burst!
I use a shiny Rattletrap, and my favorite COrky suspending mullet made by Tsunami!
i just cast out my 1/2 oz. rattle trap, blue back with silver *shinny* sides! and i get whacks! if the bass hit your lure retrieve a lil faster to show its an actual bait!
I doubt bass see my line cuz well.....Im getting 5 or more bass a day, which is good!
I cast near cattail weeds and retrieve like 2 reels ever like 1 or so seconds...Ive also tried my trusty Yozuri Crystal MInnow, the holographic tape sorta like this but black back that floats
My rattletrap looks like this:

those are pretty much the only lures i use for bass fishing, i do have worms but im more CONFIDENT with my 3 lures!
Ive caught of course 8lbers on my rattletrap, ive used a spinnerbait, never caught a bass, then i switch to my small rattle trap, like an 1/8 oz. and i caught a 6lber...
my friend Dakota uses them curly tail worms, and he gets bass, but i get bigger cuz of my rattletrap.....
since you have lilies, id go with the horny toad, or any kind of from immitation bait...if its not thick lillies, than go with the rattle trap, if its thick, try the bass jigs found at your local walmart 
Uh....I cant think of anything else right now...but, ill tell you more if i do remember.....all three*3*lures i mentioned up there are the only lures ive used and ive gotten biggins!
