After watching American Idol with the family, it was time to go snooking.
The tide was going out good. Too good to do for what I wanted to do but I had a a plan. That plan worked after a few minutes I had a nice 28" snook in the boat. The wildest thing happened as I was reaching for the fish I saw two other snook under him waiting for the other fish to puke or lose whatever it had caught. It was like a couple of jacks. Then as I went to unhook the fish I heard a splash behind the boat. I went back and saw the same two fish almost on top of my trim tabs swimming around. Now my engine is on and they are about 2 feet away from it. I have seen this only one other time at night. So I was expecting a banner night.
Another few minutes and I am hooked up again with a monster screaming off 10 pounds of drag and into the pilings she goes. Next I pull up a dink and it flops off next to the boat saving me the trouble. About 15 minutes later I get the second fish of the night another 28" fish. A bit later and I bring up another 28 inch fish that rudely throws the lure right back at me as it jumps next to the boat.  :fish:
With 2 fish in the livewell, I decided to plan my own version of American Idol. The first fish lost some scales while I was gawking at the two other fish behind the boat so I decided that one would be the "winner" and come home for dinner.

The winner.

The contestants. The winner is on the right Taylor Hicks. The loser is still out there waiting to be caught again Katherine Mcvee

Great looking fish, how many things in your house has a snook on them?  I am the same way everything I got has to have a fish on it.
