| Kracker and I have acquired an old canoe. What I need to know is, what are the regulations for a canoe? Do you have to have saftey equipment, life vests, ect????

| | Even if you put a battery-powered trolling motor on the canoe you need to register it. (learned this one the hard way) Trice |

| I just dont know if you need life vests, flares, and all that. Canoes are only so big....oh well, hope the FWC believes in professional courtesy!!

| A good rule of thumb reguarding PFD's......if it floats, and you are on it....you need one for each person. Kayak, jetski, canoe, boat......all require PFD's for each person (appropriately sized I might add )chumhead
