hey  guys new to the forum been lurkin for awhile. i was just wondering my friend and i are from jacksonville and we are both experienced anglers in our home waters and that type of fishing. we have made a few trips to the lagoon and fished the the flats to the north and saouth of beacon 42. we fish out of a custom gheenoe. we havent had much sucess on finding redfish in big numbers or finding tailers. i was just wonderin if anyone could give me some tips on where to find more fish. i understand if u just want to pm so as not to lose any good spots. we dont fish there often so we wouldnt pressure a school of fish you are on. tia everyone.

The last couple of weeks I was there they were scattered on the flat straight out of Haulover Canal and to the left ( in Mosquito Lagoon.) Put in at Haulover. Between the shipping canal and the East shoreline there is a sandbar. The wind will be out of the North this time a year so run North in the shipping canal then cut East about half way between the canal and the shore. Drift that bar. Be very quite. Through beer bottles at anyone buzzing the flats near you.

Let me know how it works out for you.
