The Dirty Dog Ranch is no place for wild game. Lizards,
squirrels and turtles alike fear the wrath of Rocco when he patrols his domain.
You can imagine the concern we all had when Patrice announced a fellow feather
had come to deliver this week’s headlines. At least this turkey had the sense
to stay on the roof of the studio or he might have ended up like the turkey in
that scene from “A Christmas Story.” We were all able to breathe easy and get
back to work after our feathered friend departed! Here’s what we had come into
the newsroom this week.

Tampa Outdoor Expo
The Tampa Tribune Outdoor Expo (aka The Frank
Sargeant Show) is going on this weekend at the state fairgrounds. The Mogan Man
will be making his appearance Saturday, March 3rd, 10 am-3 pm. Look
for Blair to be hanging around the FINS display at the Southeastern Liquidators
booth or in the Family
Boating Center
section. Come out to swap fish tales with Capt. Blair Wiggins this Saturday.

Fans page on Facebook got tweaked this week. The NEW Fan pages are rolling
out with the new timeline style format. The timeline has a new look and feel
that lumps what our fans are saying into one section. To see their comments and
pictures, click the “See All” link at the top right corner of the “Recent Posts
by Others on Addictive Fishing” section.
Dick’s Mogan Tour
The Mogan Man takes to the road again as he travels across
the state and beyond to bring his expertise to Dick’s Sporting Goods. Capt.
Blair will be sharing his knowledge about products, techniques and even some
honey holes at the in-store meet and greets. The first stop this year will be
in Ft. Lauderdale, March 11th, 11 am-4
pm. Blair will have $10 off coupons which makes the Flats Blue rod a real
bargain at $89. Don’t forget to stock up with lures, leader and line from the
AF Zone.
New FINS News
Coming soon … news from FINS. FINS announced this week they will have
their own news updates that will post to their web site and other networking sites
such as FaceBook. These
updates will highlight new products, celebrate milestones and give exclusive
looks into what keeps their company stringing along. Do you know where your

Mogan of the Week
One of the original lounge lizards, Mark Bellotte, posted
pictures of a recent trip with his friend, Ron, in the Mogan Lounge. Ron
Gougher comes down to sunny Florida
every year to take in some Spring Training games, a few hockey games and as
much fishing as he can squeeze in between sporting events. Ron recently had a
chance to try out the Flats Blue travel rod in the waters of Tampa Bay
and caught several redfish and the biggest trout he has ever caught. That catch
of a lifetime is a well deserved Mogan of the Week.
